What (not) to wear

In the name of embracing all-things Kiwi, the dress code is semi-formal!

Ladies: Cocktail dresses (i.e. normal wedding attire). We’d recommend wedges rather than stilettos, as there will be some grassy areas.

Guys:
Zoe’s request: Lounge suits.
Tom’s request (!) Tailored shorts, waistcoats and leather sandals are fine rather than full lounge suits if you really don’t want to wear a suit.

To avoid an appearance from Bridezilla, please leave the boardies, jandals (flip flops) and t-shirts at home ;)

RSVP Date: 12th August 2016

We apologise for the short time to RSVP, but as this is a wedding with guests invited from all over the world, we need to get an idea of numbers so that we can book our suppliers appropriately.

If this causes any issues, please do let us know!

Children

To give all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time without having to worry about little eyes and ears we politely request no children.

For those visiting from the UK, please let us know if you need help finding childcare and we will be more than happy to hook you up with a safe pair of hands!

Map
Directions

The Lodge is at 594 Puketona Road, Paihia

From the south, travel through Paihia itself continuing along the waterfront until you reach the roundabout. Turn left into Puketona Road and travel past Caltex and Countdown supermarket.

The number 594 represents the distance from the beginning of Puketona Road (5.94 kilometres).

The Lodge is the 3rd property on the right hand (river) side past the small air strip, and has a three rail wooden fence the length of the road boundary.

If arriving from the north, turn into Puketona Road, off SH10. Travel approximately 7km and you will find the Lodge on your left. It is the 4th house past the Motor Camp.

Parking Info

Parking at the reception venue is fairly limited, so please share a ride or grab a taxi if possible

Taxi back

We're planning on taking over a couple of taxi's to escort you all back into Paihia at the end of the evening. Please let us know if you'd like to make use of this and where you're staying.

BBQ Brunch deets

We'd love it if you could join us to relay events from the big day and ease the hangover.

Could we kindly ask you bring some BBQ food and a beer or two...if you can stomach it!

Children welcome :-)
